Relaxing Vacation (A mid-income experience)
If i may have a few pocket of money, relaxing vacation, for me, i wouldn't think any so called luxurious vacation as the other might be. Sailing a ferry ship? A trip to an island? Or visiting an unknown landmark? A vacation in my mind wouldn't hope any place. Because, what do all that mean when your mind is elsewhere minding your unsolved work or maybe unstability in economy. When i got all of my works done, all you hope is just relaxing on your warm couch with your very own hardwork-paid high-end pc (that i don't have yet but i may bought it latet tho), a bunch of snack, and communicating with the community through discord. I wouldn't mind if somebody called me as an introvert. In fact, i'm used to go outside oftenly for many ocassion. But again, back to the early statement.
A relaxing vacation isn’t about where you go but how you feel when you’re there. Some people recharge their energy by wandering far away, but I recharge mine by staying in my comfort zone. Turning on my PC, playing a few games, watching random YouTube videos, and chatting online with friends I’ve met over the years those simple moments are what I call peace. There’s no crowded airport, no expensive tickets, and no pressure to make memories. Just me, my digital space, and the silence that makes everything feel right again. A calm to my mind and cure to my soul.
Of course, sometimes I imagine adding a little twist to my stay-at-home vacation. Maybe cooking something special that takes hours to make, or setting up a mini movie night with my favorite films and dim lights. It doesn’t have to be fancy. Well, it just has to feel cozy. Even cleaning my room or organizing my (future) desktop can feel surprisingly therapeutic.
Another reason I prefer this kind of vacation is that it reminds me how far I’ve come. Every device, every piece of furniture, even the small snacks in my drawerare all things I earned through my own effort. That’s what makes my relaxation feel more meaningful. It’s not about escape the reality, it’s about appreciate what I’ve built and whot i've achieve . The peace I get isn’t bought from a ticket, but from effort, stability, and gratitude for the things I already have. Although, it also does and relevant to any other traveling vacation, etc.
So, to conclude this section, a relaxing vacation means peace of mind more than a change of scenery. My dream vacation would give me comfort and help me recharge for the challenges ahead. I believe taking a break doesn’t always require a trip across the ocean it can be as simple as staying home and finding joy in what you already own. After all, iwould believe that relaxation isn’t about where you are, but how you choose to rest your soul.
